When is Rockford AirFest 2015? Rockford AirFest 2015 is
scheduled for June 6 - 7, 2015 at the Chicago Rockford International Airport.

Where can I purchase tickets? Tickets for Rockford AirFest 2015 will be available starting December 1st, 2014. Tickets can only be purchased at participating
area Culver's (listed below) and http://www.rockfordairfest.com/.

Can I bring my RV? Yes;
however, all RVs will be required to park at the RV Park. Please contact Craig at email@example.com for

Can I bring beer, soda, or food into
the AirFest grounds? No. Food or drinks are not allowed into the AirFest
grounds. Parents of small children will be allowed to bring in water for formula
and special food for small children with allergies. In the event that there is
excessive heat please check back to our website for additional information.
Can I bring coolers into the AirFest
Coolers are not permitted on AirFest grounds.
Is smoking allowed? For safety reasons, smoking
will only be permitted in a new designated smoking location on the west end of
the AirFest ground.
Are cameras allowed? Yes. We encourage you to
bring your camera. Some of the best photos submitted to us last year were taken
by “non- professionals” attending our air show.
I bring folding chairs? Yes. You
may bring your folding chair and other “chairs in a bag” or purchase a seat in
our preferred seating area during the show.
Will an ATM (Automated Teller Machine) be available? There will be ATM's available
in the Air Show near the entrance and other areas on the show ground.
I am Handicapped. Where will I park? You will enter at the same entrance as all general parking.
From there you will be directed to our ADA parking lot. Cars must have
appropriate ADA/Handicapped sticker, license plate, or hanger to park in ADA
In the past you had a special tent
that I could pay to get into that had food and a great view of the show. Do you
still have that area? Yes
we do. It is the Aviators club. It is a great place to take your entire family.
You will have a great view of the show with catered food and beverages. We also
have another tent called the Captains club. This is a 21 and over area that
serves alcoholic beverages along with a great view and catered food. Make sure
you look for it on our ticket website. It is limited so make sure you get in
early as it sells out and is not available day of show.
Can I bring my pet? No, only service animals are
allowed on show grounds. There are too many things going on and too great of a
danger to your pet to bring them along.
seating be provided? Airshow attendees are encouraged to bring their own
chairs. A Preferred Seating Area will also be set up on the flight line;
entrance into this area will be $7 per person in advance & $10 day of show. Patrons may bring
their own chairs. Chairs will also be available for those without one at no
extra charge in the preferred seating area. However, the Preferred Seating Area
is first-come, first-served.
Can I get autographs from the performers? Yes, there is a
special Autograph Tent located near the show stage. The performers will
be available for autographs about 15 minutes after their performance each
Do you sell Programs so I can read
about each performer and static display aircraft? Sorry, not this year.
there be entertainment for the kids? Yes. A Kids' Fun Area will be set
up with various inflatable rides to provide entertainment for kids. This area
is located in our Lawn Area at the West end of the show grounds.
my kids bring their bike or skateboard? No. Bicycles and skateboards
will not be allowed on AirFest Grounds. Wagons and strollers are allowed.
I fly my own airplane in to the AirFest? Yes. Pilots are invited to
fly-in to attend AirFest. Pilots are advised to check with Flight Service to
make sure that they are not interfering with Temporary Flight Restrictions
(TFRs) - a TFR may be in place Wednesday through Sunday of the show so
please call ahead. The onsite FBO is Emery Air Inc. 815-968-8287.
are the entry restrictions? Patrons’ bags will be searched upon entering
the ticket gates. Please be aware that similar to an airport terminal, please
do not leave your bags unattended.
happens if it rains or I am unable to attend after I purchase a ticket?
Our policy is that no refunds will be issued. Your ticket purchased is good for
any one day of the show. If weather is not good Saturday, you can attend on
I bring hearing protection? Yes. We would encourage you to bring ear
protection. There are ear plugs available on the grounds, and if you can’t find
a location for them, please contact a volunteer in a light blue shirt.
tailgating allowed? No. Tailgating is not allowed in the parking lots.
The RV Park is available for tailgating if purchasing an RV Lot Pass. Contact

I need an ID? If you are planning on purchasing alcohol, wristbands will
be given to those adults presenting proper identification.
there First Aid? AirFest will have a First Aid and Cooling Tent located
near the entrance. If there are any issues on the ramp, please contact a
volunteer in a light blue shirt for assistance.
there any discounts for military? Military with proper identification as
current or former military of the United States will receive free entry into
our preferred seating.
